Dr. Brianna Banfield

Dr. Brianna Banfield is originally from Michigan, where she graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2021. She is a recent graduate of Midwestern University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys reading, video games, trying new restaurants, and spending time outside. She currently lives in Peoria with her fiancé (who is also a veterinarian), bonus daughter, and way too many animals (3 rabbits, 2 Toy aussies, a cat, a hamster, and a bearded dragon). 

She adopted her first rabbit, a fuzzy lop named Java, when she was 14 years old and it was love at first sight. They shared an incredible bond for nearly 10 years, igniting her love for exotic animal medicine. While she loves exotic species of all kind, small mammals hold a special place in her heart. She hopes to one day become a board-certified Exotic Companion Mammal specialist. She is so excited to be a member of the Little Critters team and can’t wait to meet you and your feathered, furry, and scaly friends!
